Study Center
Made possible thanks to the generosity of Bobbi and Barry Coller
Established to promote scholarship in 20th century American art, the Study Center’s 4,500 volume art reference library at Stony Brook Southampton focuses on modern American art and its international context, with special attention to the world-renowned eastern Long Island artists’ community. The research collections include the archives of the Pollock and Krasner catalogues raisonné, catalogs and files on artists of eastern Long Island, art periodicals, and Pollock- and Krasner-related documents and ephemera.
The Study Center library is open to students, researchers, and the general public by appointment. Please contact archivist Diane Holliday at diane.holliday@stonybrook.edu.
