POLLOCK-KRASNER HOUSE AND STUDY CENTER
The Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center is a National Historic Landmark and the former home and studio of artists Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner.
Located in the Springs, a picturesque neighborhood in East Hampton, New York, the PK House connects visitors with the pioneering legacies of Pollock and Krasner through seasonal tours, exhibitions, events, and programs.
The Study Center, located at Stony Brook Southampton, houses more than 10,000 archived items, documents, and books on the topics of Pollock, Krasner, and Abstract Expressionism and are available to researchers by appointment.
In 1987, the Pollock-Krasner Foundation gifted the historic property to the Stony Brook Foundation, a non-profit affiliate of Stony Brook University. Today, the leadership team of the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center operates in proud partnership with the Stony Brook University Department of Art. The PK House is also a founding member of Historic Artists Homes and Studios.
